Roles and Responsibilities:

Environmental Protection Agency - Region 2:  Project Grantor and collaborator; Provide oversight, technical resources and support.  Serves as a link to national resources and best management practices.

Community Coordinator
: Serves as Chair of Steering Committee, liaison between EPA, Sub-Committee(s) and Partners/Stakeholders.  Ensures work plan objectives and goals are accomplished throughout the process.  Provides objective, neutral guidance and direction throughout the process. Engages entire community through targeted, defined outreach activity.

CARE Team: An informal planning committee representative of the interests and concerns of the entire community.  Serves as decision-making body of the process.   Provides key leadership, direction and continuity, information, knowledge and resources.  Regularly solicits input from community.  Meets fourth Tuesday of every month from 630pm-800pm

In-Meeting Assistance: Depending on the size and purpose of the meeting, attendees may be asked to serve as a Recorder/Note Taker and/or Time-Keeper to assure meetings run on time, accurately reflect and post comments and discussions as they happen, and we properly document decisions made throughout meetings.

Community-At-Large:  Interest/involvement motivated by professional or personal interest

Technical Advisors: Provide assistance and support in area of expertise: Academic/Educational, Economic Development, Environmental, Healthcare, Social Services

Facilitator (role to be defined...as needed)
