John Nevin of eLotRecycling attended a CARE meeting in March.  eLot, a company that handles electronics recycling reached out to get invovled as a partner in the FE CARE project!  We hope to have some great news on some possible new initiatives with eLot and Fort Edward.  For more information check out their link.  If you get in touch with them, let them know the FE CARE project referred you! 

 
 

Tuesday April 22, 2008 we had two guest speakers address the CARE group.  Aaron Frankenfeld of the Adirondack/Glens Falls Transportation Council shared information on the Choose Not To Ride Alone program  and other initiatives A/GFTC has. Matt Brown from Washington County Public Health shared information on the countywide Home Radon Testing initiative. Anyone intersted in learning more about either program contact the CARE Community Coordinator!  Oh, and kudos and thank you to Aaron and Matt!

    The Blog Editor is the CARE Community Coordinator.  The position is a neutral one, meant to serve as a contact, facilitator and bridge between the  residents, businesses and organizations in Fort Edward, the CARE partner organizations, and the project grantor: the U.S. EPA.
